A.    Marriage between a man and woman is the plan of God and sacred in His sight (Gen. 2:18-25; Matt. 19:3-9; Eph. 5:18-32; 1 Tim. 3:4, 5, 12 and Mal. 2:13, 14, 16).

B.     The roles of husband, wife and child are clearly defined in Scripture (Eph. 5:21-32; Col. 316-21; 1 Peter 3:1-7).

C.     The sexual relationship is sacred between a man and a woman and is to be fulfilled only within the bonds of marriage, and is condemned outside the marriage relationship. Further, adultery, fornication and homosexuality are sins against God (Gen. 2:24; 19:5,13; 26:8,9; Lev. 18:1-30; Rm. 1:26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9; 7:3, 4; Heb. 13:14). Therefore, we will not participate in any activity that would compel us to bless, sanction, or treat as equivalent any unbiblical sexual partnership.

D.    Children are a blessing of God and the responsibility for their nurturing and maturing, emotionally and spiritually, rests upon the parent and they are to be brought up in a loving structure and conscientious instruction in the truths of God and His principles of life found in His Word (Ps. 127:3; Eph. 6:4; Deut. 6:6, 7; Ps. 78:4-7; Prov. 17:6; 22:6).

E.     Human life begins at conception and only God has the authority to begin and end life. The unborn child is a living human being and abortion constitutes the unjustified taking of a human life (Job 3:16; Ps. 51:5; Isa. 44:24; 49:1; Jer. 1:5).
